I'm just going to throw this one out there. I'm sure it may trigger some "snares" but is this not the place for good discussion? During elections when everybody was screaming "obama-obama" I kept saying in the forums to "Do your homework on the guy first". It was an "eerie" feeling for me to see so many people shouting "obama"...KNOWING that many of those same individuals knew nothing about this man. Where are these people now? The scream doesnt seem to be as loud. The support seems to have dropped in numbers.

I totally steared away from the elections for many reasons. I think people placed too much priority on the things society has cultivated. Such as color, race, money, physical appearence etc. When these become the primary base for your judgement, we develope what I call 'The cloudy judgement syndrome"...LOL! I mean seriously, look at every president from this present day to the past. If you listen to them during election time and study their background you become more familiar with them then the average person.

The point I'm trying to make is, many people need to snap back into reality. Stop settling and accepting everything that comes out of the mouth. Instead accept it, and then charge it to your head and not your heart. Everything a canidate says he will do, wont happen. In fact the president doesnt have power to make laws just happen. The decision to any type of politcal change related to the laws & financial system in which we live by are in the hands of congress. If it doesn't get voted by them...IT DOES NOT HAPPEN. (Sorry about 'Political 101 for dummies course)!

In conclusion, there's a whole lot of people in high positions who can barely manage their house hold. No self control, marital problems, children out of order and living like 'out of control savages'. How can we depend on people to run our country when THEY CAN'T EVEN control and manage their SMALL house hold? As long as these type people hold high positions in our country this place WILL NEVER become a better place. If you can't trust a theif outside of your home, are you going to trust him inside? Sometimes we just put way too much trust and expectation in people.

Many of you may disagree with me which is 100% ok and acceptable. However, not everyone can see some of the things I've been blessed to see. If the blind man knew there was pit in front of him, he would have avoided it;-) Open your eyes and feel free to think for yourselves. Not everyone who says "I can help this place" can or will.

I FEEL U BONE REAL TALK BUT MY BIGG THNG IS IM A DEMOCRAT ALL THE WAY BUT THE WAY D AND R GO BACK AND FOURTH KILLS ME INSTEAD OF DISSAGREEING WITH A GOOD PLAN BECUZ THEM DEMS CAME UP WITH IT OR REP CAME UP WITH IT THEY SHOULD SET THAT ASIDE AND DO WHATS RIGHT FOR THE COUNTRY BUT THEY DNT AND THE LOCAL GOV IS THE SAME WAY ERBODY IS ALWAYS OUT TO BENEFIT THERESELVES THERE ALOT OF STUFF GOIN ON RIGHT NOW AND IN MY OPPION IT WILL TAKE OBOMA TWO TERMS TO EVEN GET ANYTHANG BACK TO NORMAL ANYWAY IF POSSIBLE SINCE BUSH MESSED IT UP

Casper I couldn't have said it better homie... I had this debate on facebook... You would not believe the Obama haters that came out of the woodwork. People who were on the Obama train just one year before are now talking the man down. I'm a Democrat as well (well I'm a felon so my democracy is voided lol) and I have as much faith in Obama as I did in the beginning. I think he has the ideas that could change our country for the better. Lord knows he couldn't do much worse then the cat that sat in that seat the eight years before him. However, he alone does not turn the wheel of change. Bone is right, Congress has the power, not the President. And as long as they sit in that room and fight like a bunch of toddlers fighting over their toys we as a country will remain stuck in the position we are in now. Hell, you got politicians themselves throwing in the towel cause they have had enough. These are men and women who have built their lives around what they do today. Imagine Dr. Dre throwing his hands up and walking out his studio and locking the door and throwing away the key and never returning because so many other producers keep bitchin and complaining and won't allow growth in the industry... walking away from what he has spent his life creating... thats what's going on right now in Congress... It's sad.

By the way, I couldn't vote for him, but I am an Obama supporter. He may not be in office once we are headed back in the right direction, but a gaurantee he will start the turn. My question is this. If not Obama then who? Well, I would like to see Clinton back in office. That's my homeboy. lol
