In 2009 there has not yet been a week that has gone by without me receiving one of the below type questions via e-mail.

- How do I become noticed on flench.com

- Why does it seem like you all spotlight hand picked people

- I've been on flench for quite awhile, how come my songs are never played on your radio show.

Immediately, I can see that these individuals asking these type questions are either looking for a quick way to success or have become concerned about their efforts here on the site. Let me briefly explain something to each and all. The individuals who have gained popularity on this site have acquired this status through grinding here on the site. They are involved on flench.com EVERYDAY and they don't just visit the site, stream music and leave. They post blogs, comment on songs, send messages to other members, post in the forums. In other words they are ACTIVE.

Individuals like Ma Pelli and Lowkey have been around for quite sometime now. In fact I can remember when they both first came to this site. Ma Pelli jumped on the flench.com boat in our early months when we first launched our company. I can remember when she would only come to this site EVERY once in a blue moon. Her status here on Flench.com WAS NOT A POPULAR ONE! Later on, she started visiting the site more frequently. She then started commenting on peoples music. Later on she started to collab with other artists here on the site. Before you knew it she was making her talent known publically as an artist and displaying her role as a FAN Simutanously! This is the stage in which she built her FANS here on the site and CAUGHT our attention!

Ok, So what am I trying to tell you? Folks, if your on this site trying to gain fans and escalate your music career, it's going to take more then just spamming profiles asking them to check you out. Build a relationship with EACH person you meet on this site. Take time out to listen to their music as well and perhaps comment on the things you like or don't like about it. People miss out on the TRUE power of this site because they can't see past their own selves! Learn this site and it's navigation like the back of your hand, Build a CLOSE relationship with the invdividuals on this site, and WORK HARD. I can then PROMISE you that music career will be MUCH MUCH better then it ever has in the past! That's my word.

FYI - I hope to see many of you take this message to heart and act upon it.
