Biography
John "Dr. Mindbender" Mack has knowledge of the music industry that dates back twelve years. He started by utilizing D.J. equipment to put together what is now considered a mix tape then known as a demo tape. He writes his own lyrics and produces his own music. He is now a well oiled music making machine.
His first musical business venture began with an independent record label called Battlegroundz Recordinz, which he started with his business partner, Leron Pascasio. Battlegroundz Recordinz produced one album, Battlegroundz the Compilation, which sold over two thousand five hundred copies independently. In 2004, John decided to branch out and start his own independent label, Music Game Entertainment, along with two other partners, Melody M. and Shawn Walker. He writes and produces some of the beats for Music Game Entertainment along with recording, mixing, and mastering most of the projects put out under the labels name.
He has released one commercial album of his own, Dr. Mindbender Presents…Music Game in June of 2005 under his new label, which sold 5,000+ copies independently. He also owned and operated a commercial recording studio and performance hall with his two business partners.
Over the last Twelve years he has sold thousands of mix tapes, performed and hosted a number of shows and opened for several well know artists in the music industry.
