Biography

~Creamrecords Bio~ This is Cream Records! First started by 2 local peg city brothers just to have a label to put out CD's under. Then we took off into the Peg City rap game instantly becoming well known and getting many performances quicker then we thought possible. These young fellaz started a whole new generation of canadian hiphop and now plan on taking it to the next level quickly. They have performed constantly over the past 8 years even though C.R. has only been surviving since 2004. Formally kown as What It Is Records [W.I.I.R], we had to change the name due to haterz on the other W.I.I.R group haha.. But anyways we're here now and we aint gon stop       ~Biography~ These gutta north ambassadors convey the realities of their 'hood' in a way that is so authentic, so undeniably real, that it commands a level of respect from the streets and the industry alike. When it comes to rap skills, few can hold a candle to these Boyz. For Grimez, putting the group together had nothing to do with what was hot in the industry at the time, nothing to do with an 'industry look' or style. It had everything to do, however, with finding true hood brothers with a knack for keeping it real. "If you break the hood down, there's always an OG in the hood, always a hustler in the hood, always the edge-hanging, grimy **** in the hood and a lotta young niggas in the hood so this was what was happening everyday and it really just came together like that. I didn't follow no industry guidelines. The hood taught me a lot and I kinda stick to those rules because that's all I know. I stick to the basic g-code." "It just lets you know there are some good days in the 'hood too. Everything ain't always bad in the 'hood." Cream Records has accomplished the task of attracting the attention of the listeners. Now the only thing to do is keep hold of this attention. "Were not just some dudes from the north out here hoopin' and hollerin' on records, doing the crunk stuff. We really can rap. Each one of us got our own sound. Each one of us got our own flow pattern and all of us real niggas that just came together." And each of them, says King K, speaks to a different segment of the masses: "Grimez really got some OG's," he explains.
