Biography
ChicagoGetter is the definition of an ambitious artist not just a rapper. He started rapping at the age of thirteen years old on the East side of Chicago, placing poems together about different life experiences; which is why his music is so different today. His lyrics are not just words to a song but dialogue to an individual’s life. The music he creates paints vivid pictures that tell a story far beyond the music.
He has eight Cd’s to date. Ranging from 5 mix tape’s from 2005 -2009 , and one group Cd in 2001 with Lunacy M.O.B , and two solo cd’s with all original music : Real Talk was the first one in 2003 and Area [773] was the second one in 2009. His motivation came from other rappers who are trash, and do not show lyrics or skills; this is the reason why ChicagoGetter’s on a mission to prove his greatness today. Some of his inspirations are Slick Rick, James Brown, Tupac , Mystikal , Scarface, Twista, Pycho Drama, and Crucial Conflict.
He spent a short time at Jackson State University. Mass Communication was his major of all studies. During his stay in Mississippi he was hired by Cash Money’s Merchandising’s company and have been touring from state to state for the last two years on and off, with different major recording artist
Chicagogetter’s flow delivery shows unique rhyme patterns . His flow is slow but fast intertwined with rapid pace rhymes without a lot of punch lines, but straight forwardness that puts him in a unique league of his own. Leadership is shown in his flow which makes him a standout from other artist today. He doesn’t stick to the trends that come and go he set his own, which shows why he’s going to have longevity in this music game.
ChicagoGetter is on his way to underground legend status .He has done over 200 shows throughout the country and has a gold plaque for ring tone sales of a half a million downloads from 2008’s Boss of all Bosses mix tape. Gogetter has also co- hosted an internet radio show with Flench.com and a DVD in the making to go with his new album. Chicagogetter represents history in the making, stay tuned…………..
